The role
As a Quality Inspector, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll help maintain quality standards throughout the production process and the finished vehicle stage ensuring you record accurate quality results in a fast-moving environment.
Day-to-day, you'll inspect the product at different stages of production and at the end of the cycle, sign off the product against the agreed specifications, complete vehicle despatch packs and complete administration work to ensure records are kept up to date.
Main responsibilities
Accurately and methodically recording inspection findings using build pack, relevant check sheets and test reports
Independent inspection and despatch to ensure customer satisfaction
Timely inspections to adhere to strict customer deadlines in accordance with key performance indicators (KPIs)
Carry out any other duties or training as and when necessary to meet the varying demands of the business and satisfy customer needsThis role is full time, 40 hours per week and is based on site at Walsall.
Essential experience of the Quality Inspector
Good understanding of vehicle specifications
Passion and deep understanding of Vehicles
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team to achieve desired results
Proven experience in a quality control environment (Desirable)Qualifications for the Quality Inspector
Maths & English GCSE
Full UK driving licenceSecurity Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC)/ NPPV security clearance for this role.
