High Volume, Precision Machined Components - International Markets Growth and Exit c£90,000 pa + Car, Bonus & Benefits West Midlands The Role: Reporting to the Managing Director and leading a dedicated team, responsible for all financial aspects of the business, driving the financial strategy and planning, ensuring the company's financial health and stability, supporting sustainable growth and profitability, whilst playing a crucial role in structuring the business for sale and supporting the sales process Responsibilities: Financial Planning and Strategy Financial Management Risk Management Investment and Fundraising Team Leadership Stakeholder Management Structuring the Business for Sale Supporting the Sales ProcessQualifications & Experience: Proven experience as a Finance Director or similar role in a precision engineering or manufacturing environment. In-depth knowledge of corporate finance, accounting principles, and financial regulations. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. Proficiency in financial management software and MS Office. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent. Experience in financial modelling and forecasting.Preferred Skills: Experience in managing financial operations in an engineering company, ideally high-volume machined components, experience of supplying distributors is advantageous but not essential Knowledge of industry-specific financial challenges and opportunities. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Experience with ERP systems and financial software implementation.
