About the role


In this role you will play a key part in identifying, assessing and engaging new talent for both permanent and contracted roles. Utilising various channels to attract and engage highest quality pharmaceutical talent while ensuring the best candidate experience, your contributions will be essential to tranScrip’s growth plans.


Duties and responsibilities


  • Design and execute cutting-edge recruiting strategies to attract a diverse array of qualified candidates.
  • Develop and maintain the Employee Value Proposition.
  • Identify and make best use of new and emerging recruitment avenues, including social media, developing tranScrip website as a recruitment tool, networking events, and industry-specific forums.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs and provide strategic support throughout the hiring process.
  • Establish and nurture a network of potential candidates through proactive outreach and relationship management.
  • Oversee the complete recruitment cycle, from job postings to offer negotiations and onboarding processes, ensuring compliance with legal processes and procedures.
  • Oversee an effective selection process to assess candidates' skills, experiences, and cultural compatibility, including developing the roles and responsibilities of stakeholders in the recruitment process and participating in the selection process alongside hiring managers.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Ensure contractors are identified, contracted, and onboarded effectively and in compliance with IR35 requirements.
  • Identify and implement engagement channels with contractors and build a database of prospective targets.
  • Identify and implement appropriate systems and software.
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with recruitment partners and negotiate competitive and appropriate terms and conditions.


Experience


  • Demonstrated experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or in a similar recruitment role, ideally within the healthcare sector.
  • In-depth understanding of recruitment best practices and tools.
  • Exceptional communication, including written communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HR software.
  • Adept at making use of technology for recruiting and engagement purposes.
  • Working knowledge of IR35 regulations.

Location


  • The position of Talent Acquisition Manager will be office-based but some home-working, a genuine possibility for the right candidate.
