Senior Manager of FP&A - Responsibilities:Lead the development and execution of the annual budgeting process, including revenue forecasts, expense projections, and capital expenditure planningCollaborate with department heads to ensure that financial goals are aligned with overall business objectivesPrepare monthly forecasts and variance analyses to evaluate financial performance against budget and previous periodsIdentify key drivers of variances and provide actionable recommendations to optimize financial outcomesPartner with senior management to assess critical initiatives, investment opportunities, and potential business risksConduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to understand the financial impact of various business decisionsDevelop and maintain management reporting dashboards and key performance metrics to monitor business performancePresent financial results and insights to executive leadership in a clear, concise manner to facilitate data-driven decision-makingBuild and maintain complex financial models to support long-term planning, scenario analysis, and investment valuationContinuously refine models to reflect changing business dynamics and market conditionsWork closely with departments such as Sales, Operations, Quality, and Human Resources to ensure alignment of financial plans with operational strategiesAct as a strategic partner to functional leaders, providing financial expertise and guidanceLead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial planning processesLeverage automation and digitization tools to streamline workflows and reduce manual effortSupport business unit-level initiatives, special projects, and ad-hoc financial analysis as neededRecruit, lead, coach, and develop the finance & accounting team to ensure professional and technical growthFoster talent retention and enable career progression within the team Senior Manager of FP&A - Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred5+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with a strong focus on budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelingExceptional analytical skills with the ability to distill complex financial data into actionable insightsStrong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholdersAdvanced proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, and MS PowerPoint; additional IT skills such as Data Warehouse, Oracle, and SAP are advantageousDemonstrated success in driving operational improvements and implementing best practices within an FP&A functionAbility to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities effectivelyA commitment to continuous learning and professional development, with a proven record of career progression and a desire to stretch capabilities Mantell Associates is a specialist Pharmaceutical and Life Science headhunting firm.
