Computer Aided Design Technician

We are currently working in partnership with one of Building Magazines Top 100 consultancy firms based in Kent, who are recruiting for CAD Technician a on a permanent contract. The position is due to start on notice. The salary is circa £30,000 dependent on experience for the role.The ideal candidate will be qualified with CAD and experience drawing plans for previous projects.Duties will include (but are not limited to): Inputting design specifications into CAD software and utilising this to draft technical specifications and blueprintsMeeting with engineers and designers to review design drawingsCreating surface and solid CAD models according to client specificationsProducing 2D and 3D drawings and ensuring drawings comply with project guidelinesExperience required:CAD softwareSkills, knowledge and expertise required:Handling blueprintsExposure to commercial and residential projects/sectorsRewards and Benefits:Hybrid workingGenerous annual leaveWorking hours:Monday – Friday8:30am-5pm Flexible working hoursPlease note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.James Andrews is acting as an employment agency and business in relation to this role.At James Andrews Recruitment Solutions we try to respond to all applications personally, however, due to the high volume of applications this is not always possible.
