Senior Software Safety Assurance Engineer Salary: £85,000 with flexibility for the right candidate Location: Bath office, Hybrid working of 2/3 days from home with flexible working hours I am currently looking for Senior Software Safety Assurance Engineers to join a leading engineering company that delivers high-integrity software systems across industries like Aerospace, Defence, Rail, and Nuclear. This company specializes in System Functional Safety Engineering and Software Assurance, helping clients develop safety-critical systems that meet today's strict regulatory demands. They are looking for someone who wants to be involved in their projects and utilise their skills and experience to make a real impact. The Role: You'll work on a variety of high-impact projects, including: ATC software development AI-based systems for rail infrastructure maintenance Torpedo safety electronics Submarine command and control systems Consultancy on safety engineering for innovative technologiesIn this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring compliance with industry safety standards (such as BS EN 61508, RTCA-DO-178) and working within multidisciplinary teams to deliver essential safety-critical solutions. Key Requirements: Knowledge of safety standards like BS EN 61508, Def Stan 00-55, and others Strong experience working on high SIL/DAL projects Ability to draft and review safety documentation and liaise with clients UK national with eligibility for SC clearanceWhy Apply?
