We are now looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join us on a full-time, permanent basis at our headquarters in Staple Hill, Bristol. The Role As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will handle all the technical aspects of pump sales, providing critical support from enquiry stage to implementation. Supporting the Sales Director and co-ordinating projects, you will produce scope of work documents, cost estimates and technical literature, such as pump curves, general arrangement drawings, and datasheets. You will enter orders on our SAP system, submit quotes, and produce accurate cost calculations for the manufacture, repair, or servicing of components. Additionally, you will: - Liaise with other departments on capacity, material, and subcontract requirements - Clarify tender requirements with clients - Negotiate costs or delivery timelines - Provide technical responses to customers and vendors About You To be considered as a Technical Sales Engineer, you will need: - A good engineering background with experience in services, repair, and maintenance of pumps, valves, compressors, and rotating equipment - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Excellent presentation and negotiating skills - The ability to plan and prioritise your workload effectively - A BTEC qualification in Engineering or equivalent Other organisations may call this role Pump Engineer, Sales Engineer, Pump Equipment Engineer, Pump Maintenance Engineer, Sales Support Engineer, or Rotating Equipment Engineer.
