Working hours: 07:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday

Pertemps Didcot are recruiting Class 2 Delivery Driver with experience of working in a multi drop environment.

JOB OVERVIEW

• We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Class 2 Delivery Driver with experience of working in a multi drop environment.
• Working as a Class 2 Delivery Driver you will be a professional delivery driver who will be part of a team working together and aiming high to deliver outstanding customer service every day.

DUTIES

• Your role as a Class 2 Delivery Driver will include:
• Completion of daily pre-use vehicle and auxiliary equipment checks
• Accurate and timely defect reporting
• Obtain accurate and timely 'proof of delivery' Using a PDA or documentation in line with the required standard
• Legislative compliance, e.g. Tachograph and driving infringements, and including roadside authority checks, accident, near miss and hazard reporting
• Adherence to vehicle cleaning programme
• Use of pump truck/tail lift, forklifting when required

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant, clean driving Licence
• Held licence for at least 2 years
• Previous driving experience as a Class 2 Driver
• Experience of using a manual, split gearbox 18t and 26t vehicles
• A minimum of 35 hours of Driver CPC training is essential
• Experience of working in a multi drop environment is desirable
• Customer focused, with flexible approach
• Willing to go the extra mile for our customers
