Job Title: Civil Enforcement Officer Location: London Borough of Harrow, Forward Drive, Harrow, HA3 8NT Employer: Pertemps Recruitment Partnership for London Borough of Harrow Contract Type: Temporary (3 months ongoing) Hours of Work: Week 1: Monday - Saturday, 07:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Week 2: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM Working Arrangements: On-site and around the London Borough of Harrow Overview of the Role: Pertemps is seeking a motivated and self-driven Civil Enforcement Officer to join the expanding team at the London Borough of Harrow. This temporary role offers a competitive pay rate of up to £15.39 per hour, excellent training, career development support, and 21 days of holiday (excluding Bank Holidays). Main Responsibilities: Monitor and enforce parking regulations. Issue Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) by taking details and pictures of incorrectly parked vehicles. Provide information on local parking rules and facilities. Notify authorities about faults with parking meters, damaged road signs, and other relevant issues. Requirements: Ability to work an allocated shift pattern based on 5 over 7 days, including evenings, nights, weekends, and bank holidays. Knowledge of legislation relating to Parking Enforcement/CCTV. Training in Civil Enforcement or the capability to be trained to satisfactory standards, or relevant experience. BTEC Level 2 or equivalent in CCTV Enforcement, or relevant experience. Full UK driving licence for a car and a driving record that meets the council's insurance requirements. Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
