Engineering Manager

Engineering Manager £55,000 -£65,000 (Depending on Experience) To maintain company assets to the highest standards at all times. To ensure the safe, efficient and effective repair of plant / production breakdowns and assist production with engineering issues when and where required. Duties and Responsibilities Maintaining all machinery to ensure it’s at working standards. Planning and managing all repair and installation activities. Supervising and leading all maintenance processes and operations. Creating and implementing maintenance procedures. Assigning repair schedules and evaluating repair cost estimates. Conducting regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems. Tracking expenses and overseeing the budget for maintenance. Overseeing equipment stock and placing orders for new supplies Ensures PPM’s are completed as per schedules. Proactive approach to troubleshoot, and repair equipment Communicate effectively with the engineering team and other departments Documenting and preparing daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
