Nursing Assistant Band 4

We are currently seeking outstanding Nursing Assistants (Band 4) to join our growing team! Our client requires a nursing assistant to provide care for a child. Clinical knowledge is a must in order to progress to the next stage. Clinical Requirements * BiPAP Support (Overnight) Continuous BiPAP support required during sleep hours to assist with respiratory. * Oxygen Administration (PRN) based on the patient's oxygen saturation levels. * PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy) * Ensure proper medication administration via PEG when necessary. * Medication Administration including those given via PEG and any PRN medications. * Experience in managing seizures * Dystonia Management * Experience in Oral Suction * Regular communication with the clinical team to report any significant changes in the patient’s condition. * Close collaboration with the family * Personal care Personal Requirements: The succesful candidate should be personable, engaging, and able to support these interests, fostering a warm and positive environment. Flexibility to adapt to the client’s changing health status and needs. Logistical Requirements: * The role requires working night shifts from 21:00 to 07:00 three shifts a week starting from the 30th of Sep * The carer should also have the flexibility to cover additional shifts during annual leave and must be available to work during school half-term breaks.
