Revenue and profits have grown rapidly, and they have invested record sums in M&A over the past few years.Your new roleThe Group Financial Accountant role represents the opportunity to join my clients Group Finance team and gain broad exposure across group financial accounting, tax, treasury and systems. This role offers valuable experience to a technically astute individual with experience of complex consolidations and IFRS technical accounting. This role also offers the possibility to get involved in the more commercial aspects of finance, including providing insight on central costs and group performance, whilst working within a motivated and up-beat team.What you'll need to succeedGraduate qualified accountant with strong IFRS technical background (Newly qualified to two years post-qual preferred)Considerable experience owning the preparation or audit of consolidationsDemonstrable skill at providing technical IFRS accounting adviceHands-on tax experience is an assetAdept at stakeholder management and communication (both written and verbal)Experience within / auditing private-equity backed businesses is desirableAble to demonstrate an understanding of the commercial aspects of the business; experience of the Aerospace industry is desirableWhat you'll get in returnYou will have the opportunity to work for an exciting, fast-paced company that offers a close-knit and inclusive culture to its employees.You will get a competitive salary of between £50,000 - £55,000 dependent on experience, plus bonus and access to excellent benefits.The company has incredible career progression opportunities and is dedicated to ensuring their staff are given all the tools they need to succeed.Our client is based in modern offices in Gloucestershire, but has also embraced hybrid working.
