Executive Chef Manager Location: London, EC4M Salary: £46,000-£50,000 Working Days: 40 Hours per week, Monday to Friday (Some weekends may be required) About the role: Are you passionate about feeding hungry minds with fresh, seasonal ingredients? We are seeking an Executive Chef Manager for a prestigious independent school located in the heart of London. You will be preparing meals for both day and boarding students aged 4 to 13. This involves ensuring the food is not only nutritious and delicious but also appealing to younger palates. As the Executive Chef Manager you will lead a team of 8, ensuring that daily operations run smoothly. As Executive Chef Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing food preparation, staff coordination, kitchen safety, and adhering to strict hygiene standards and allergen management. On a typical day, you will be feeding around 300 people on a daily basis, with lower numbers on weekends. Executive Chef Manager Requirements: Proven experience as an Executive Chef Manager, particularly within independent education. Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate a team. Passionate about food, with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. Excellent communication skills, both within the kitchen and with other departments. High-level culinary skills paired with a good understanding of kitchen finances.
