This is a hybrid role with occasional travel to our London or Bradford office. Anchor is England’s largest not-for-profit provider of care and housing for older people. About the role As the Lead Project Manager within our Housing Transformation Programme, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic change across our housing services. You will oversee the successful delivery of key projects aimed at improving resident experiences, modernising operations, and enhancing housing outcomes. In this leadership role, you will also manage and mentor a team of project managers, ensuring projects are executed on time, within scope, and aligned with Anchors’ goals. Your expertise in stakeholder management, resource allocation, and innovative problem-solving will be critical to transforming the way we deliver housing services. This role will report to the Director of Housing Transformation. Experience 1. Extensive Project Management Experience: Proven track record of leading complex transformation programmes, preferably within the housing, public sector, or related industries. 2. Strategic Planning: Ability to align project delivery with Anchor’s goals, ensuring successful outcomes through effective planning and execution. 3. Team Leadership: Experience in managing, mentoring, and developing project teams, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members. 4. Stakeholder Engagement: Strong experience in managing relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, external partners, and residents. 5. Change Management: Expertise in implementing large-scale change initiatives, with an understanding of change management methodologies and practices. 6. Risk Management: Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across multiple projects, ensuring solutions are adaptable and resilient. 7. Resource Management: Experience in managing budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring optimal allocation across multiple projects. 8. Knowledge of Regulatory Requirements: Familiarity with regulations, policies, and best practices within the housing or public sector. 9. Problem-Solving & Innovation: Strong ability to anticipate challenges and drive creative, practical solutions to deliver transformative results. 10. Project Management Certifications: Microsoft Project, APM, or other relevant certifications are preferred.
