Piper Maddox are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and results-driven Director of Residential Renewable Technology to lead and oversee our clients residential renewables division. This individual will be responsible for managing a large team, driving sales growth, generating leads, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales journey. The Director will play a pivotal role in educating customers about various renewable technologies such as solar, wind, battery storage, and energy efficiency solutions, ensuring they make informed decisions tailored to their needs. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Management: Lead, manage, and mentor a large team of sales, marketing, and customer service professionals. Develop and implement strategies for team performance, ensuring KPIs and sales targets are met. Foster a collaborative and customer-centric work environment that motivates and supports staff in achieving their best. Sales & Lead Generation: Develop and execute lead generation strategies to drive business growth and expand market share in the residential renewable energy sector. Collaborate with marketing teams to create effective campaigns, ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified leads. Build partnerships with local communities, events, and organizations to generate brand awareness and foster opportunities. Customer Journey Management: Oversee the entire customer journey, from lead generation and initial consultation to installation and post-installation support. Ensure customers receive personalized, consultative guidance throughout the sales process, helping them understand renewable energy technologies and solutions that best suit their needs. Develop and implement processes to ensure a seamless, transparent, and positive customer experience, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. Customer Education & Advocacy: Educate potential and existing customers about the benefits of renewable energy solutions, addressing any concerns or questions related to solar panels, energy storage systems, heat pumps, and other relevant technologies. Act as an advocate for sustainability and green living, promoting the advantages of transitioning to renewable energy for homeowners and the environment. Operational Oversight: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance of the home renewables division. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and customer satisfaction protocols. Coordinate with technical teams to ensure successful installation, maintenance, and after-sales service of renewable technologies. Key Qualifications: Proven leadership experience managing large teams in a sales, operations, or renewable energy environment. Strong understanding of residential renewable energy technologies and trends (e.g., solar power, wind energy, battery storage, etc.). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to educate and guide customers through complex decisions. Track record of driving sales growth and building customer-focused teams. Strategic thinking with a focus on process improvement, operational efficiency, and customer experience. Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field (Master's preferred). Passion for sustainability, clean energy, and improving the customer journey.
