Service Desk Engineer
£45,000 - £55,000
London, Onsite.
An experienced Desktop Support engineer is required for a major, London Market Insurer, based in the City of London. The company are in hyper growth and the need for motivated support engineers is critical to the delivery of strategic plans as well as BAU support. You will be joining a high performing team, in a fast-paced environment, where a proactive mindset is essential for both the role and the organization.

Your profile should show experience delivering Desktop support within the financial service/insurance industry.
Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support to users across all levels of seniority.
  • Supporting all daily used communication tools such as Teams, WebEx, O365, AV and telephone
  • Regularly reporting back to the IT team with any updates/feedback, ensuring effective handover of incidents
  • Mobile device management MDM & MAM
  • Provide regular feedback to senior management for projects, incident management and change management
  • General IT administration activities including joiners, movers, and leavers processes.


Skills and experience required:

  • Previous service desk support within Financial Service/Insurance Industry.
  • Knowledge of DNS, DHCP and Group Policy
  • Strong knowledge of O365, Windows 10, MS Office, Active Directory and Exchange Online.
  • TeamViewer and MimeCast experience
  • Microsoft Azure
