Travel Procurement Lead, Key Responsibilities: Category Leadership: Develop and lead the procurement strategy for the global travel category, ensuring alignment with business goals and delivering cost savings. Supplier Management: Manage relationships with key global travel suppliers, negotiating contracts, and driving service excellence. Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand business travel needs and ensure that procurement activities meet operational and financial objectives. Global Spend Management: Oversee a significant travel spend, ensuring the procurement function delivers measurable value while optimizing processes and improving supplier performance. Sustainability & Compliance: Implement travel procurement strategies that support sustainability goals, compliance, and best practices across the organization. Travel Procurement Lead, Required Background and Qualifications: Travel Procurement Expertise: Proven experience in managing global travel procurement, with a strong track record in delivering cost savings and negotiating complex travel contracts. Supplier Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation abilities, with experience managing supplier relationships and securing favourable terms. Strategic Sourcing: Ability to develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives for the travel category, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality travel services. Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and ensure alignment with procurement strategies. Global Experience: Experience working within a global organization, with a deep understanding of international travel procurement challenges and best practices.
