The Recruitment Group is looking for an enthusiastic Food Production Supervisor to work for our client based in Barrow upon Soar. We are looking for a Food Production Supervisor who loves food and cares about the work they do. If you feel this could be the role for you, please read the below. Pay for the Food Production Supervisor
- £13.50 per hour
Hours:
- Monday to Friday 2pm to 10pm
- 30 minute unpaid break
About the role temp to perm
The role is to help produce and pack our clients' products ready for delivery. This role will suit candidates who have worked for a small or medium company and are willing to work in a hands-on varied role,
Main duties include:
- Working within production, preparing and making products
- Managing a small team ensuring targets are met
- Follow start-up and close-down procedures and maintain a clean working environment throughout the day
- Adhering to hygiene working practices to ensure the highest possible standards, and all procedures relating to food safety, legality, and quality are adhered to
- Monitor and maintain the quality of the product throughout the process
- Complete all relevant paperwork fully every time a product is produced
- Various other duties as and when required
You must be:
- Resourceful and adaptable
- Willing to change tasks or departments as production requires
- Able to communicate easily with all other staff and able to understand the company's written records and documents
- Able to carry out the tasks that would be reasonably required
- Minimum one year's food industry experience
- Comfortable with handling, preparing, and baking food which involves long periods of standing, lifting, and carrying as well as other tasks such as cleaning
Experience:
- Food Industry 1 year (preferred)
About You:
- Need to have a can-do attitude and be willing to get stuck in
- Work as part of a team and be able to follow instruction
- All body piercings, false eyelashes and false nails must be removed
- All nail varnish must be removed
- A Food Hygiene certificate would be beneficial but not essential
