T&K Associates are currently recruiting for a Welder to join our Client on a permanent basis in Shepshed. Welder Job Details; £14.50 per hour to start with the opportunity of an increase after a successful probationary period is passed Paid overtime available once trained at a premium rate of £21.75 per hour Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:45pm and Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm 40 hour working week Annual bonus scheme Company pension scheme 21 days holiday + bank holidays when permanent Free tea / coffee Uniform provided Permanent position Free parking & Canteen facility on site Welder Role & Responsibilities include; Laser welding the products Completing ad hoc welding Completing some mechanical assembly Reading and interpreting engineering drawings Fabrication work on the products Quality checking the products Relaying build issues to the production manger Any other duties as required Welder Person Specification; Welding experience is essential previous experience using a Laser Welder is preferred but not essential. Certificate or evidence of Welding training is required.
