HGV Driver Normington Up To £30,000 Key Responsibilities: 1. Deliver, collect, and return generators and ancillaries to customer sites throughout the UK. 2. Ensure a high quality of service to customers, achieving complete customer satisfaction. As a HGV Driver, you will be required to Load and unload vehicles. Operate a forklift truck. Deliver generators and ancillaries to site and collect them from site. Assist engineers on-site. Refuel generators on-site and in the depot. Maintain tidy work areas through general housekeeping. Install and dismantle generators on customer sites. Complete daily vehicle inspections and report defects to the transport department. Complete and submit all company paperwork as per procedure. Safeguard all company assets; ensure nothing leaves the depot without correct paperwork. Maintain cleanliness and serviceability of the company vehicle or any occasional loan vehicles. Promote teamwork and cooperation across thecompany. Treat all employees and customers with professionalism and respect. Act in the best interests of the Company. Follow safe working practices and adhere to Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental guidelines (ISO 9001:14001 and OHSAS 18001). Contribute proactively to the company’s policy of continuous improvement. Carry out any reasonable ad-hoc duties as requested by your direct Line Manager or the Management Team. Candidate: * Flexibility, as the job involves unsociable hours * Good communication skills and the ability to connect naturally with people * Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative or as part of a team * Timely and effective completion of work * Ability to follow company policies and procedures * Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions Qualifications/Skills Required: * High school or equivalent * Class 1 HGV (Essential) * CPC full 35 hours of drivers' periodic training (until 09.09.2019 or later) * ADR or working towards it (All classes including tanks + other than tanks) * Forklift Truck Licence * HIAB/Lorry Loader Licence Experience Required: * HGV driving experience Does this sound like something you want to be a part of?
