About the Role

As a Technical Operations Executive, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of all technical systems and processes within the organisation. The focus of this role is to maintain system stability, optimise performance, and support critical business functions to ensure the technology infrastructure meets the operational demands of the business.

Your Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing and overseeing all UK-based assets related to technology logistics, ensuring they are properly maintained and accounted for.
  • Lead onsite technical support, setup, and coordinate the Technical Operations Team in partnership with the Technical Systems Controller to ensure smooth operations.
  • Develop a comprehensive troubleshooting framework to address and resolve issues within the F&B Technology domain.
  • Manage and coordinate the ASM Global EPOS system to guarantee business continuity during operations.
  • Work closely with F&B technology partners to deliver the technology roadmap, which includes new product development (NPD), AB testing, and other system developments.
  • Implement, lead, and enforce best practices to drive operational excellence within the Technical Operations Team
  • Implement and coordinate the internal technology stack roadmap using OKRs (Objectives and Key Results), ensuring alignment with both long-term and short-term business goals.
  • Provide detailed post-event analysis and reporting to deliver insights on key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continual improvement.
  • Develop and coordinate a training blueprint program to ensure all team members are equipped with the necessary technical skills.
  • Use commercial awareness to influence and support operational decision-making, focusing on driving revenue growth and operational efficiency.


Key Skills and Experience


  • Strong background in IT operations or engineering, with experience in EPOS, PSP, E-Commerce, SAS modeling, and IT infrastructure.
  • Familiar with the train-the-trainer model for operational end users, ensuring effective system use across teams.
  • Proven experience in coordinating event day teams within the hospitality industry.
  • Ability to work independently, with excellent planning, organisational, and coordination skills.
  • Skilled in identifying key issues, spotting new solutions, and handling unusual technical challenges.
  • Engagement: Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing abilities, effectively engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understands and interprets client needs, providing tailored solutions while maintaining a business-oriented mindset to control costs and enhance profitability.
  • Builds productive relationships, promotes teamwork, and shares expertise, with the ability to guide and coach team members effectively.
