CAD Technician

Express Recruitment are delighted to be representing an Engineering firm in Derbyshire that drive innovation and diversity whilst being pioneers of control system and environment solutions. They are looking for a CAD Technician to join their growing team. Their ideal candidate will have demonstrable industry experience working with AutoCAD, have worked within an Electrical or Mechanical environment, and have considerable design project experience. In return, they are offering a competitive salary of up to c£30,000 per annum D.O.E and a generous benefits package including flexible working hours, profit share bonus, overtime, employee assistance programme, sick pay and more! Roles and Responsibilities * Create 2D and 3D CAD drawings using industry-standard software * Collaborate with cross-divisional teams to meet project requirements and stringent specifications * Attend design review meetings to review drawings and action any modifications required * Maintain accurate records including drawings and ensure they are documented correctly * Contribute to identifying innovative design solutions to enhance product performance * Stay up to date with industry trends and current design software Skills and Experience * Demonstrable AutoCAD experience, with the ability to produce 2D & 3D designs * Experience working across a variety of design packages * Possess a formal engineering qualification in a relevant discipline * Possess strong communication skills both written and verbally About Express Recruitment Express Recruitment has been offering exceptional recruitment solutions across the East Midlands since 1987, “exceeding expectations every time” of over 267,000 candidates.
