Restaurant Manager c£47,000pa London SE1 We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join the team of this dynamic, fast-paced restaurant located in the heart of London’s iconic Borough Market. Known for its vibrant atmosphere, exceptional customer service, and high-quality food. They pride themselves on offering a unique dining experience that captures the spirit of Borough Market. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead the team, drive service excellence, and help grow the business. You’ll be at the forefront of day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth service during peak hours while maintaining the highest standards of food, drink, and customer experience. Staff meals whilst on duty About the job: Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficiency and excellent customer service. Manage, train, and inspire a team of front-of-house and back-of-house staff. Ensure a welcoming and warm environment for all guests, handling any issues with professionalism. Maximise profitability by managing budgets, controlling costs, and optimising staff schedules. Implement and uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards. Work closely with suppliers to maintain stock levels, particularly focusing on fresh, seasonal ingredients from Borough Market. Drive marketing and promotional activities to attract new customers and retain regular guests. Continuously seek ways to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. About You: Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager in a fast-paced environment. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work well under pressure and multitask effectively. Strong knowledge of food and beverage trends, with a passion for locally sourced ingredients. A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and building positive relationships with customers and staff.
