We are looking for experienced Software Engineer to join Zonegreen part of Sentric Safety Group.
Zonegreen produce market leading depot safety equipment for the rail industry. The core of the products used for depot safety is the hardware and software that is installed on customer sites. This role is part of the team working on maintaining and developing the current and future depot safety products that ensure Zonegreen continues to provide the highest quality to our customers..

Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the full delivery and launch of a unique product range.
- Own software development from design to launch.
- Collaborate with the project engineering team to ensure products meet customer needs.
- Tackle complex problems to maintain constant quality of results.
- Design, code, and test new products while improving existing ones.
- Maintain and modify existing products, including fault finding and level 3 support.
- Assist in the commissioning of company products.
- Produce support documentation, such as software architecture documents, specifications, test results, and operating manuals.
- Perform unit and system testing.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely for yourself and others.
Qualification requirements:
- Preferably educated to degree level.
- Minimum 5 years experience.
- Strong C++ skills essential
- Git experience essential
- Embedded experience desirable
- C experience desirable
- Web development desirable
- PLC experience desirable
- Neuron C/Lonworks desirable
- Linux experience desirable
