Band 5 Wound Healing Service Shropshire Community Payrate: PAYE: £19.00 Umbrella: £ 22.00 Booking starting Monday 7th October 2024 Monday-Friday (Apply online only) 1 agency nurse for each location: Hadley Wound Healing Service, Telford, TF1 5NG Hollinswood Wound Healing Service, Telford, TF3 2ET The nurse will be working in one of our wound healing service clinics alongside one of the substantive team delivering complex wound care to our patients. This will be seeing non-housebound patients in a purpose built clinic setting, Monday to Friday (Apply online only) with lunch break and safety huddle planned in. The nurse will need to be competent in compression bandaging and Doppler assessment however we can support with a refresher training if required. The nurse will need to be competent in wound assessments and various dressing techniques including appropriate use of antimicrobial dressings, packing, negative pressure (we can also support with refresher if required). The electronic patient record is Rio so a baseline competency with this is preferred but we can support with training if required. A full induction will be provided prior to working independently.
