Corporate Benefits Consultant, Financial Planning


The role


We’re looking for a Consultant to join our successful Financial Planning team, to specialise in managing a portfolio of business owners, companies, and employers regarding their workplace provisions. The successful candidate will have a Somerset/North Somerset office base to suit their location, which could include Taunton, Yeovil, Weston-super-Mare or Bristol.


You will be actively involved in business development activities, working very closely with the LLP Payroll and Business Services departments to enable development of clients’ holistic needs. The role will extend to all levels of workplace requirements for instance employee pension schemes, auto enrolment, group death in service, and income protection.


What we need from you


  • For you to be people oriented, and able to motivate, coach and develop others
  • DipPFS qualified, potentially working towards chartered status
  • Skills in client care, offering quality advice and service

A commercial focus, along with experience in a fee-based environment and the ability to make informed decisions.

  • Confidence meeting the regulatory aspects of the role, providing compliant advice and reports
  • A sound knowledge of workplace pensions, auto enrolment and group DIS
  • Presentation and public speaking skills
  • A love of networking in order to develop the business and team
