A part-qualified / finalist Finance Analyst is sought by a leading global professional services group with an enviable portfolio of FTSE 100 and Blue-Chip clients. This organisation offers a broad range of services across 4 continents. Ambitious growth plans and continued profitable expansion within all markets and regions has created a new opportunity for a part-qualified or newly qualified Finance Analyst to join the Financial Business Partnering team. Providing support to the Finance Business Partner team, you will be responsible for delivering a best-in-class service to key stakeholders. A varied brief includes:
Key Responsibilities of the Finance Analyst
- Gathering financial data to address complex business needs, such as partner and fee earner evaluations, client and matter profitability analysis, and trend reporting
- Overseeing the timely and accurate production of routine deliverables, including monthly reporting packs, in collaboration with the Finance Business Partner team
- Crafting high-quality financial presentations for business stakeholders (practice, sector, and key client specific), along with providing relevant analysis and recommendations when needed
- Becoming the go-to expert for Finance systems and models, ensuring their accuracy and relevance, and working with the Finance leadership and external partners to keep them up to date and functional
- Assisting in delivering financial education by supporting various training initiatives aimed at enhancing stakeholder understanding
- Supporting the Head of Finance and Finance Business Partners in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly reforecast processes
Skills & Attributes of the Finance Analyst
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Finance and Accounting principles and be either recently or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA, with hands-on experience in Financial Analysis within a commercial environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, alongside advanced Excel proficiency, with excellent financial analysis and modelling abilities, are essential
- This position is best suited to someone who is self-driven, able to handle pressure, and maintain focus and composure when working under tight deadlines
