Business Analyst

This is an exciting opportunity to join TVSSCS as a Technical Business Analyst on one of our product teams. Our Business Analysts are responsible for supporting the Product Owners and wider Product teams on ensuring we have identified, documented, and converted customer requirements into clear, well defined, testable work items.As a Business Analyst, you will also be responsible for the technical documentation for system processes, specifications, and configuration management for a product team.The Business Analyst will work with the IT Service Management team to ensure a seamless handover is provided to the IT Service Management team to enable continued support for changes in the products, which will include providing the relevant support documentation, monitoring, and troubleshooting guides. As a part of this you will provide induction/overview training to users as and when requiredFor large IT programmes, the Business Analyst will work with the wider IT programme team, product owners, and developers to ensure cross functional team deliveries and well defined and planned in a coherent way.Main Duties and Responsibilities:Identifying and documenting Technical/system Requirements.Ensuring complete and up to date documentation of functional spec and process for product features.Ensure user guides are complete and up to date for product support teams.Ensuring correct configuration management is carried out and documented for product changes.Ensuring new client onboarding is successful with efficient deployment of products, integration services, and setting configuration.Carry out impact analysis for changes, especially where these changes span multiple products.Coordinate across teams to ensure joined up delivery.Capturing, documenting, and communicating integration / third party requirements.Liase with Software Developers during technical design developmentSupport Software QA team in the development of System Test Specifications and co-ordination of user test activity based on the functional specifications and business scenarios.Where necessary will perform and support others in performing software testing.Provide process and operational support documentation.Deliver project activities in line with agreed time scales, ensuring any changes to approved timing are formally agreed with Manager/Project Leader and Business Owners.Assist the support team in fault finding and problem resolution with existing IT Systems.Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Self starter, able to work on activities with minimal supervisionStrong analytical, problem solving and process analysis skillsExcellent working knowledge of basic project management methodologiesExceptional oral and written communicator, able to talk to technical and non-technical colleagues and clientsExperience of working on agile IT projectsSelf-driven, confident to lead and to listen to othersManage and track multiple projects across teams and third parties.Understanding of supply chain application systems and business processesWorking knowledge of BPMNIn return for your hard work, we offer excellent career progression opportunities and a professional environment where you can acquire, use, and continue developing your skills.
