Key Responsibilities: Design and Development: Design and develop advanced antenna systems for avionics and aerospace applications. Antenna Analysis: Perform comprehensive antenna analysis using industry-standard tools and methodologies. RF Testing: Conduct RF testing and validation to ensure antenna performance meets required specifications. Low Observable Design: Design antennas with a focus on low observable (LO) characteristics to minimize detection. Radar Cross Section Reduction: Implement techniques to achieve low radar cross section (RCS) in antenna designs. Prototyping: Build and test prototypes to validate design concepts and performance. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including RF engineers, system engineers, and product managers. Documentation: Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports. Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in antenna design and RF testing, with a focus on avionics and aerospace applications. Technical Skills: Proficiency in antenna analysis and design tools (e.g., HFSS, CST Microwave Studio, ADS). Strong understanding of electromagnetic theory and antenna principles. Experience with RF testing equipment and methodologies. Expertise in designing for low observable (LO) and low radar cross section (RCS) applications. Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and interpret complex data. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise technical documentation. Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Desirable Skills: Knowledge of avionics and aerospace industry standards and regulations. Experience with prototyping and hands-on testing.
