We have a fantastic opportunity for you to work with our client as a full time Inventory Control Operative in Berkshire, RG19 4ND.
The role of the IC Operative is to work within the Inventory Control team, ensuring that stock levels of tracked and recorded accurately.
Payrate and shifts as an Inventory Control Operative:
Standard pay: £11.44p/h
Shifts:
Any 5 out of 6 days (Sunday to Friday - 8 hour shift)
Normal operating hours will be 6am until 9:30pm with shifts starting at 6am, 7am, 8am, 10am & 1pm
On a Sunday, there is just one shift 8am until 4:30pm
45 mins break (15 mins paid) *We will need staff to be flexible on shift times**
You Role as an Inventory Control Operative:
Carrying out physical stock checks; ensuring that all any stock anomalies are investigated thoroughly
Perform regular cycle counts
Communicating any stock amendments to the IC Team Leader in a timely manner
Ensuring that relevant KPI reporting documents are correctly maintained
Ensuring that daily IC reports are checked, and any required investigation is undertaken to try and get a resolution.
Assisting in the activity of stock management, ensuring stock integrity is achieved and maintained according to customer and company requirements
Assisting with regular inventory audits
Communicating with warehouse management, staff and relevant parties with regard to any potential problems and appropriate resolution
Carrying out other administrative duties accurately and within agreed timescales
Arranging and tidying stock & materials
Following Site Standards and safe working practices in relation to Health and Safety
Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules and schedules *This list is not exhaustive. Colleagues are expected to undertake all reasonable requests necessary for the successful completion of their duties*
Skills & Experience Required:
Previous experience within a warehouse/DC environment
Previous experience within Inventory Control (Desirable)
Ability to interact and communicate professionally
Good IT Skills, with use of Warehouse Management Systems, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and target-driven environment
Meticulous attention to detail
Good organisational and time management skills
Must be able to speak and understand English language
Ability to be flexible in relation to shifts & hours
