The company is part of the Emirates/dnata group, headquartered in Dubai UAE. Forecast to turnover £70m this financial year, the business is growing rapidly and needs experienced and passionate people to help the business hit its £200m revenue target in the coming years.The Management Accountant will support the Finance department by leading all accounting and reporting aspects of the En Route Group. The Management Accountant will report into the Head of Financial Control and Governance.Key objectives:Responsible for the accurate preparation and coordination of month end reporting process, including commentary and variance analysis, in line with strict internal deadlinesProduction of consolidated management accounts packs for submission to head office (multi-company & multi-currency)Supporting the Financial accountant with coordinating other local compliance obligations for all En Route entities and related intercompany journals and transfer pricingSupporting the preparation and production of statutory accounts (UK Company and Group) Supporting the annual audit process for the UK entity and overseas units as requiredSupporting the preparation of statutory accounts and local filings where applicable in our overseas unitsImplementing improved cash flow processes, and ongoing cash forecasting for all entities Supporting the development of monthly and quarterly rolling forecast processDrive improved efficiency & accuracy in reporting through process improvementsAssist with implementing and maintaining internal controls, processes and proceduresOverseeing and managing tax affairs (direct and indirect) in all En Route entities, including computations where necessaryProvision of ad hoc financial and management information to support management decision making Undertake any other duties as required by management, commensurate with the grade of the postKey ResponsibilitiesBalance sheet reconciliationsBank account and cash managementIntercompany ledgersFixed AssetsAccruals & PrepaymentsGovernment statistics reporting (ONS)Year end audit pack support (reconciliation work with variance investigation)Weekly cash forecast (data sources being creditors, budget / forecast & prior week movement)Knowledge base: Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with extensive experience in a similar roleExperience in a FMCG/manufacturing environment is advantageous Experience of working in a fast-paced environment with an international group structureAdvanced IT skills, particularly Microsoft suite (including Excel, Dynamics, Power BI)Use of Business Central highly preferable Key skills: Strong technical and management accounting skillsUnderstanding of inventory accountingAbility to present and articulate complex financial information simply and conciselyHighly organised and able to hit the ground runningAbility to handle high levels of pressure and critical decision makingExcellent written and oral English skills
