Permanent contract 37 hours per week includes sleeping in, evenings, weekends and on-calls as required £32,076 to £33,945 per annum (Scale H) Norwich

Qualified Residential Children's Practitioner (level 3)

Exciting opportunity in Norfolk Residential Children's Homes providing short breaks and specialist care for young people of either gender aged between 10-17 years.

As the Qualified Practitioner, you will be expected to contribute to an assessment of the child's needs with the objective of supporting families and young people at the edge of care to remain within their own homes and community. The service will also support children in crisis and in emergencies. You will also be expected to take part in the out of hours on call system.

You will be joining a highly motivated and enthusiastic team who endeavour to make significant changes in young people's lives.

Ideally you will have a background in residential care or be experienced in working with children. You will be required to have a social work, nursing or other relevant qualifications. You will also be expected to supervise staff.

To work within this environment, you will need to be committed to making a difference in the lives of young people. You will need to be reliable, have good personal relationship and communication skills as well as high professional standards.
