Main Responsibilities:- Assist in the setup and maintenance of workshop equipment and facilities, ensuring a safe and productive environment.
- Support the instructional needs of the department by preparing materials and tools for student projects.
- Conduct routine checks and repairs on equipment, reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with staff and students to foster a learning-focused atmosphere in the workshop.
- Promote and adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with college policies and procedures.
- GCSE in Maths and English at grade C or above (or equivalent).
- Strong technical aptitude with experience in maintaining and handling workshop tools and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to communicate effectively with students and staff.
- Willingness to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends when necessary.
