Loading Bay Operative Monday to Friday - Rotating Shift pattern £12.01 through to £14.83 depending on hours worked British Gypsum, Sherburn in Elmet, Fenton Lane, LS25 6EZ We are seeking dedicated Loading Bay Operatives to join our team for the British Gypsum contract in Sherburn in Elmet. This is a rare temp-to-perm opportunity for individuals looking to be part of a hardworking and supportive team, working on a Monday to Friday basis. Shift Pattern: Week 1: 20.45 - 5.15 Mon - Fri Week 2: 12.45 - 21.15 Mon - Fri Week 3: Monday 5.45 - 14.15 Tue - Fri 4.45 -13.15Shifts rotate on a three-week basis, provided in advance. No weekend or bank holiday work unless overtime is offered. Pay Rates: 06:00 - 18:00: £12.01/hour 18:00 - 06:00: £14.74/hourKey Responsibilities: Secure loads by unstrapping and strapping them as needed to ensure safety during transit. Collaborate with forklift truck (FLT) drivers to confirm that loads are properly secured or ready to be unloaded. Provide support in loading and unloading activities if required, although these tasks are typically handled by FLT drivers. Maintain adherence to all site health and safety regulations.Work Environment: Open warehouse environment. Appropriate dress code required for safety and comfort.Requirements: Flexibility to support loading/unloading if necessary.
