Sheet Metal Worker

Major Recruitment are searching for a Sheet Metal Worker for our client based in Washington. This vacancy is full-time and permanent for the right candidate. Duties include: Working from engineering drawings to fabricate jobs Producing bespoke products from various metals Working to tight tolerances MIG and TIG weldingHours of work and pay rate: Monday to Thursday, 7am till 4pm Friday 7am till 1pm £14.93 per hour, negotiable depending on experience First 7 hours OT worked Monday to Saturday x1.5, double time after 7 hours/ Sunday Overtime available as and when business needs requireSuccessful candidates must: Have experience in MIG and TIG welding processes Be able to read from engineering and design drawings Have worked with mild/ stainless steel and aluminium Be able to self-check own work Have experience using fabrication equipmentSuccessful candidates must also have a full UK driving license as regular work on site is expected.
