We are looking for a dynamic Canteen Chef de Partie who has experience of lots of different sections in a fast-paced environment. What we are looking for in a Canteen Chef de Partie: Develop and create diverse and nutritious menus that cater to various dietary needs and preferences. Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards. Ensure meals are served in a timely manner and meet quality and presentation standards. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene. Oversee proper storage and handling of food items. Conduct regular checks to ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and equipment. Train and mentor kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, safety practices, and kitchen operations. Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff. Manage inventory, including ordering and purchasing of food and supplies. Monitor and control food costs and wastage.
