We've partnered up with a premium global food brand on their search for an International Head of Brand.


This is an exciting role to develop the brand into international markets and help shape the roadmap for international expansion, supporting launches into new markets which has already begun. It is a very strategically important position and to the future growth of the brand internationally as it offers a fantastic opportunity for an experienced marketing leader to have an immediate impact while shaping the longer-term direction as an essential part of the mix to serve our future vision.


Main Duties & Areas of Responsibility:

  • Develop the current business in US market and other functions such as Commercial, Category, and Supply to build the brand to turnover goals over the next 5 years.
  • Collaborate with Global Insights, Category, and Sales to develop the roadmap for further international expansion.
  • Build business cases to support recommended new market launches.
  • Ensure the brand proposition can work at premium price points in new markets through consumer, category, and financial validation.
  • Make recommendations in collaboration with Category and Sales for the GTM strategy in new markets, including where to launch and site in-store for maximum impact and potential.
  • Develop appropriate marketing support plans for launch and beyond, based on best practices in other markets but tailored as needed for success.
  • Adapt the global NPD pipeline and portfolio strategy as appropriate for local market success.
  • Build strong relationships across the organization, including Marketing, Sales, Category, Finance, NPD, and local teams within our parent company.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of 1-2.


Relevant Experience and skills:

  • Exposure to Brand Marketing/Trade Marketing/Activations/Commercial/Digital
  • Managerial experience for an FMCG business.
  • Proven track record in the development of business and brands in international markets (US experience is desirable).
  • Experience working with distributors is desirable.
  • Experience with global-local ways of working.
  • Commercial and financial acumen with an understanding of P&L and margin management.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills with an ability to develop strong collaborative relationships within the organization and across local markets.
