Job Title: Business Development Manager (BDM) Location: Kings Cross Job Type: Hybrid - 3 days in office after probation About Us: One of the Uks leading independent building services organisations, they do a host of services from electrical and mechanical engineering, security systems, commercial catering. Job Summary: The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for driving the growth of our business by identifying new opportunities, fostering relationships with new and existing clients, and expanding our customer base. The BDM will focus on targeting end users, consultants, PQS (Professional Quantity Surveyors), Managing Agents, and FM (Facilities Management) companies. Key Responsibilities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth. Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients. Expand the customer base by targeting end users, consultants, PQS, Managing Agents, and FM companies. Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met. Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to potential clients. Negotiate contracts and close deals. Monitor and report on sales performance and market trends. Qualifications: Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field. Strong understanding of the target market, including end users, consultants, PQS, Managing Agents, and FM companies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Strong negotiation and closing skills. Self-motivated with a results-driven approach. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
