Machine Operator

Howdens are recruiting Machine Operators to join our team on the lamination line based at our manufacturing site in Howden, East Yorkshire. As we continue to expand, we are looking for three Machine Operators to join our lamination line at our manufacturing site at Howden, East Yorkshire. The equipment the lamination process consists of includes. Titan - Foil / PVC Slitter, Argos - Vision System, Schelling - Angle Plant Saw, Biele - X-cut Saw, Costa - Sander, Zanin Nello - J-Profile Trimmer, Celaschi - DET, SCM - Drawer Front Line, Barberan - Lamination and other ancillary equipment Pay rate: • £17.88 basic rate plus shift allowance and performance bonus Shift Pattern: • Rotating days and night shifts (Monday to Thursday) (10-hour shifts) What you’ll be doing: • Adherence to company SHE policies and standards • Performing machine pre use safety checks and maintaining a safe working environment. • Setting, monitoring and maintaining the machine in accordance with the SOP • Accurate recording of production data • Performing detailed process quality checks in accordance with the quality control plan • Changing tooling and performing minor adjustments • Engaging with partnering functions including maintenance and CI in order to drive improvement.
