About the role
As a Holiday Club Playworker your role will be to support children and young people to reach their potential by planning, running and monitoring engaging activities.
Our Holiday Club runs throughout every school holiday and we provide a variety of themed days at our centre and trips to local venues. We aim to provide young people with new opportunities and experiences and build new friendships, making the most of their school holidays.

Person Specification:
Experience with working with children and young people and delivering a range of activities to children and young people
Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding
Understanding of the principles and practices of equality and diversity
Essential Skills and Competencies:
- Ability to positively engage with children and young people in a variety of settings
- Ability to plan, prioritise and manage own workload
- Ability to implement and review programmes of work with children and young people
- Ability to motivate others
- Excellent communication skills
