Our client, a large manufacturing business based in Leeds have an immediate requirement to recruit 2 well versed TAPE EDGERS to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that mattresses are produced to the correct specification & checking for any flaws.
• Ensure the finished products are in line with the overall quality criteria All tools & machinery are maintained and used correctly
• Health & Safety guidelines are followed at all times

Daily tasks include:

• Operating tape edging machines.
• Inspecting finished products.
• Maintaining a clean and organised workplace

Key Skills & Experience:

• Experience in tape edging
• Attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
• Ability to follow technical instructions
• Physical stamina for standing and lifting mattresses
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Team player
• Good communication

These positions are permanent and you will be expected to work 6am - 4pm Monday to Thursday.

In return you can expect a starting rate of 13.22. This could rise in time up to 15.59 with training.
