Working for one of the world s leading networking and wireless technology manufacturers, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to support their sales team and growth within the CCTV/Security Market.

Based in Reading with area travel too.

Commutable Locations: Reading, Basingstoke

We are looking for a Business Development Manager who will focus on the CCTV/Security sector to join the UK sales team. As market leaders in the consumer and SMB networking space we are looking for a driven, dynamic and ambitious professional to further enhance the sales UK team and bring new opportunities to the business.

In addition, you ll be responsible for:

  • Developing business within the UK CCTV/Security sector utilising existing customer relationships, market research and internal data. This will require detailed planning, competitive analysis, customer profiling and engagement, and execution of comprehensive sales and marketing plans.
  • Understanding how the CCTV/Security supply chain works and key customers within Distribution, System integrators and installers.
  • Developing a strong pipeline of sales opportunities within targeted customers and providing regular feedback to the management team on open opportunities, forecasting and quarterly plans.
  • Primary focusing on SMB/Enterprise solutions, with competency to present, train and educate customers on in the CCTV/Security field.

About you: Business Development Manager

This individual must have a solid background in developing CCTV/Security customers in the IT industry and have a proven track record of success.

We are looking for someone who has experience in IT sales, working either for an IT Reseller/ MSP or IT Vendor would be ideal.

You ll be highly driven, passionate and have previous experience proactively developing sales opportunities.

This is a team focused role; you ll need to have excellent communication skills and be a solid team player.
