Job Title - Process Technician
Location - Dumfries
Hours - 4 on, 4 off. 2 Days, 2 Nights 4 Off. (12-hour shifts)
Salary - Starting at £28k
Talento are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a company who are experts in manufacturing economically sustainable rigid plastic packaging. They use their expertise to help their customers, and the industry as a whole, recover used plastic packaging, transform it into new feedstock, and manufacture new bottles from old-all in a sustainable, closed-loop system.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a Process Technician for their site in Dumfries.
The Role -
Operation, maintenance and improvement of the sites EBM machines
Directs and monitors the execution of the production schedule
Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on related equipment as required
Performs production change overs and start up procedures
Inspect the finished product - visual and/or by camera
Execute quality checks
Comply with company safety policy & procedures as well as maintain good housekeeping
About you -
Background and Experience
Mechanical / electrical experience would be advantageous
Experience of Graham Wheel EBM machines would be advantageous
Good understanding of Health & Safety
Technical Skills
Tool changes and planned maintenance would be advantageous
Interpersonal Skills
Excellent team skills along with an enthusiastic and proactive approach
Energetic and enthusiastic approach to their current role, whilst being an effective communicator at all levels.
Possess good interpersonal skills, along with excellent organizational skills and job prioritization
Good communication, flexibility and reliability are essential for this position.
