Finance/Projects Assistant Job Description Working as part of a small finance team, the successful candidate will have full accounting responsibility for two business entities within the Heyn Group to include the processing of sale & purchase orders, sales invoices, purchase ledger maintenance and payment of suppliers, along with assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts. Additionally, they will act as a Key support in the advancement and implementation of IT systems within the Heyn Group, supporting the FC directly with various ongoing systems projects as they arise. Key Accountabilities: Daily processing of all sales orders for two business entities, raising customer invoices and liaising with sales personnel as required. Processing of supplier purchase orders, invoices & statement reconciliations re two entities. Daily administration for both entities as required by Sales and Service Managers Liase with credit control to manage customer queries, disputes. Assist in the development and reporting of management information on a weekly & monthly basis. Assist with ad hoc projects as required to develop administrative processes group reporting and IT systems to further advance commercial business decisions. Other administrative support as required by associated Heyn divisions on an ad hoc basis. Essential criteria: .Previous accounts experience in a similar role Advanced Excel Skills Strong communication and organisational skills. Ability to work independently but also as part of a team Ability to prioritise workload while maintaining high standards and meet strict deadlines. Desirable criteria IATA qualification Working knowledge of Sage 200 (or sage 50) MS Office Working Hours: Office Based Mon - Friday 9.00 5.00 One-hour lunch break daily 20 days holiday + 8 statutory days Benefits package Salary £26- £28,500 depending on experience Annual performance bonus Pension scheme Private Medical Insurance Life Assurance On-site car parking Employee assistance program.
