The successful Senior Structural Engineer Candidate will be required to simultaneously work on an eclectic mix of projects in a variety of arenas to; * Provide engineering design and consultancy services to a wide range of projects, mainly residential and commercial builds * Ensure that sufficient and full information is available on all projects * Carry out site visits * Provide advice and guidance on builds and projects * Project management of building projects, typically £250K-£500K * Report writing * Design utilising a variety of materials including steel, concrete and masonary The CANDIDATE Our client is looking for an ambitious candidate possessing the desire to further develop their career within a Civil/Structural Engineering practice. The right person will have the following experience: * Considerable experience as a Structural Engineer * iStructE or ICE accredited * Strong academic background within a relevant discipline * The desire to develop a career * Good knowledge of current building standards, analysis and codes of practice * Enthusiastic and self-motivated * Professional telephone manner with good interpersonal and communication skills.
