For appointments to part-time hours, the salary will be pro-rata. NHS Borders Community Treatment and Care Service (CTAC) are looking to recruit enthusiastic and adaptable Charge Nurses to lead service provision in Berwickshire, South (Hawick) and Central (Galashiels) clusters. It is an exciting time to join the service as it develops to deliver enhanced treatment room services across all areas of the Scottish Borders. You will need to be a confident, autonomous clinician who thrives on leading and developing best practice and delivering person-centred, high-quality care. You will be able to evidence excellent leadership skills, be highly organised and have experience of supporting the training and development of staff, which is an essential part of this role. As an effective communicator you will be able to develop positive working relationships with colleagues and GP Practice Staff. Experience in community and/or in clinical leadership is desirable but not essential. Access to a vehicle and possession of a full driving license is preferable as the role may involve occasional travel. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period, for which you would be paid, until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
