Teaching Assistant - WoolwichJob Overview:We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our partner school in Woolwich. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and supporting students in their learning journey.Duties:- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities- Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional help- Mentor and guide students in their academic and personal growth- Collaborate with teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment- Support students with special educational needs, including those with autism- Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parentsExperience Required:- Experience working with children in an educational setting- Knowledge of special education practices and principles- Ability to educate and inspire students of diverse backgrounds- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Patience, empathy, and understanding towards students' needsThe school has an excellent support team and experienced SLT as part of the extended team.
