Job Opportunity: Design & Technology (DT) Teacher - Immediate Start in Rotherham Location: Rotherham Contract: Full-time, Temporary (with potential to become permanent) Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience) Start Date: ASAP Tradewind is working with a highly regarded secondary school in Rotherham to recruit a passionate and dedicated Design & Technology (DT) Teacher for an immediate start. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or a newly qualified teacher (NQT) to join a dynamic and supportive team. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in Design & Technology Plan and assess a broad and balanced curriculum that meets the needs of all students Foster a creative, supportive, and challenging learning environment to help students achieve their potential Support students in developing practical and theoretical skills across various aspects of DT, including product design, resistant materials, and graphic design Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote and improve the overall DT curriculum Maintain high standards of classroom management and student engagementPerson Specification: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Proven experience teaching Design & Technology at secondary level Strong subject knowledge in all areas of DT, with the ability to teach across Key Stages Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A passion for fostering creativity and technical skills in young learners Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their bestWhy Join This School?
