Bid Manager - Devon An incredible opportunity has arisen for a Bid Manager to join one of the UK’s most established contractors on a permanent basis! This contractor offers a complete package of construction-related services including design and build through to refurbishment and associated fit-out works with clients including Government, Local Authorities, Healthcare, Universities. The main purpose of this position is to manage the bid qualification process for new opportunities.Responsibilities:Follow a structured process and establish a clear understanding of the requirements Establish a clear understanding of the client bid requirements/key deliverables and develop a win plan for the bidArrange internal and external technical support as appropriate Raise queries, obtain timely responses and record Prepare Risk & Opportunity register Lead bid team at internal adjudication Compile tender submission documentationResponsible for the timely delivery of compliant and commercially sound bidsManage any post submission negotiation and/or dialogue, correspondence with Client team, through to conclusion Attend Bid Handover meetings, and brief delivery team to ensure all knowledge gained during tender period is communicated, including risk s and opportunities identified within the bidRequirements:Strong writing and editing skillsBachelor's degree in English, Communications, Construction Management, or a related field is preferredExperience in preparing and submitting tender documentsAttention to detail and ability to work with complex informationRelevant driving licence
