Risk Contracts Lawyer

Are you a qualified Solicitor with 5 years of PQE? Do you have a background in commercial law or contract negotiation? Are you looking for your next legal compliance role? We have an exciting, new opportunity in London for a Risk Contracts Lawyer to join a dynamic Global Law Firm. This role supports fellow risk management professionals in maintaining the firm’s legal and regulatory compliance, whilst mitigating emerging risks associated with procurement. Within this role, you will: Ensure the firm’s compliance with relevant laws and regulations Mitigate risks associated with business operations Maintain updated knowledge of laws and regulations relative to procurement and contracting Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations and policies Identify and mitigate potential legal risks Provide legal advice regarding contract negotiations, procurements dispute resolution Identify areas for improvement within current procurement processes/workflows Deliver training to internal teams on legal compliance, contract management and procurement The ideal candidate has a working knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks, and preferably has some familiarity with SRA Standards and Regulations, although this is not mandatory.
